Hi Quincy, Still watching you move around on the Tasman, what a tough little sea it is, but guess who is tougher….Proud of you, talking to Olly about you yesterday, all so proud and in awe of your strength…Bucky and your team thanks for taking care of Quincy and keeping us up to date with his progress…
Thinking of you The Sheerans
You sound really strong on your podcast Sean. Inspirational.
We are thinking of you. Although I can’t help but feel that is a bit like the WW1 Generals back in their Chateau’s drinking bubbly while egging on the troops on the frontline to go over the top.
Apart from knowing you are going through a rough time, I actually wouldn’t have a clue how bad it is for you out there. Hard for a lot of us when the closest we get to the water is a 15 minute shower each morning, and the roughest waves we see is when we flush the loo!
Keep it up Quincy. Love the article in the National Geo. I was reading how much you were looking forward to an Eggs Bene and a Flat White while I was eating Eggs Bene and drinking a Flat white. It was pretty good too. Not long now. Toby
Keep up the incredible effort Quincey! Once you’ve conquered this next bit in front of you and you’re back on NZ soil you know you’ll be able to achieve anything! We left the Caribbean today and have started our Atlantic crossing back to France…it’s a little rough out here tonight and now more than ever I am blown away by what you are doing, inspirational to say the very least. Go you good thing! Julia and Scott
Hi Shaun, you are doin great.I follow your progress most days and am selfishly willing you further north so that i get to see you land.Dont let down your guard and keep safe! All the Best.Gary Red Beach.
Hey Shaun,
Best of luck out there mate, hope it all goes well, hang tight for the next few days.
p.s. With all that wind, can you put a plastic sheet or towel up for a sail and make some distance east ?
God bless

Thanks Toll Global, it would have been hard to start this expedition without the boat! And Shaun – hang in there. We are all very proud and are so looking forward to seeing you at the finish line. Not long now…keep fighting!
Shaun you have proved time and time again how determined and strong you are. You will be home in no time but sit tight through this weather patch and it will pass soon….then it will be full steam ahead to the Naki. Keep it up Shauny as we all can’t wait to see you.
Shaun you take as much cabin time as you like..it is the weekend afterall!!
Thanks Toll & all the other sponsors – helping Quincey make this amazing journey!
Keep up the steady progress Quincey, thinking about trying to get through something big always try and break it up, I’m pretty sure that is what you’re doing – How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time! I’m not encouraging eating of elephants, at all… just get yourself home soon and safe. Very proud of you mate!
Hi Shaun, It is so good to see you are holding your own, your little boat still looks to be on track for NP, hope you haven’t had too much rockin & rollin. Stay strong, stay positive, we know you can do it!!!! The Limbricks xoxoxoxo
Sitting at home in front of my plasma TV and warm and safe is fine! The outdoor part of my life knows you are alone and battling the seas to achieve your goal! A challenge you have set and you will complete. At the end of it all…mission accomplished! The battle was out at sea with you and the elements. Nobody will really understand that battle!!!
Great achievement for you awesome you adventurous soul!!!!
Only a small handful of men could have done this and you are one of them!!!!!!!!Chur!!!!
